Mimoza Ahmetaj has been appointed as Minister of European Integration on February 14th, 2017.
She has been an Ambassador in Brussels, handling issues with the EU, NATO, Kingdom of Belgium & Luxembourg, from 2013 to 2016.
She served as an Ambassador to Slovenia from 2011 to 2013.
From 2010 to 2011, she was an Adviser to Prime Minister Thaçi, on health and social issues.
From 2007 to 2010 she was a Member of the National Parliament and a member of the committee on social and health issues.
On June 1999 to May 2002 she was an adviser to the SRSG Office UN Mission in Kosovo (Sergio De Melio, Bernard Kouchner, Hans Haekerup).
Mimoza Ahmetaj holds a Masters Degree in Health Management. A joint project between the University of Prishtina and University of Vienna, 2011.

She speaks English, Serbian, Croatian and some French.
She currently lives in Prishtina, with her husband, three children and her dog which she admires very much.
